Sleepy Eye, Minnesota

Breathe easier.
A quiet place to park, pitch, and leave the noise behind. RV sites and tent spots nestled among the woods of southeastern Minnesota — no crowds, no rush.
About the campground
Not every getaway needs to be loud.
Sleepy Eye Campground sits along a quiet stretch of southeastern Minnesota, just off Highway 14. It is the kind of place where the trees close in a little tighter, the mornings start slower, and you actually hear yourself think again.
Whether you roll in with an RV or pitch a tent under the stars, the ground here is steady, the neighbors are respectful, and the only thing you need to worry about is whether to hike first or just sit and watch the light change.

The area
The town is small.
The experience is big.
Sleepy Eye is one of those places that doesn't advertise itself. It just is — a quiet corner of Redwood County with a main street worth walking down, a lake worth sitting by, and a pace that matches the trees.
The Sleepy Eye State Park is close by for longer hikes and lake views. In town, you'll find a library, a community center, and the kind of storefronts that still look like they have been there since 1972.
